Communications and Growth Coordinator

 

Role Overview:
The Communications and Growth Coordinator will play a crucial role in executing our new initiatives, managing media campaigns, and supporting the communication needs of Tech2Peace. This position requires a creative thinker with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of handling a diverse array of tasks to ensure the success and growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communications

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to enhance Tech2Peace's visibility and reputation.

  • Craft compelling content for various platforms which you will manage, including social media, newsletters, press releases, and the website.

  • Maintain ownership over consistent and engaging communication with stakeholders, including alumni, board, partners, donors, and media.

  • Adhere to and understand complex communication regulations and guidelines.

  • Develop and maintain an archive of communications.

  • Optimize campaign performance and metrics through data analysis and adjustments.

  • Provide support to the CEO and other staff as needed including grant compliance.

Content Creation and Management

  • Develop media kits, email and design templates for various communications.

  • Ensure consistency and professionalism across all media assets.

  • Create and maintain procedure documents and templates for organizational processes.

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of strategic documents and organizational policies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and a commitment to promoting peace and reconciliation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Airtable, Mailchimp, Canva, and other relevant tools.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Hebrew and/or Arabic is highly desirable.

Development and Compliance Director

Role Overview:
Tech2Peace is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Development and Compliance Director. This position will be responsible for managing the organization's grant writing efforts, developing and executing fundraising strategies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and grant requirements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nonprofit work, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of fundraising and compliance best practices. 

Key Responsibilities:

Grant Writing:

  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities that align with Tech2Peace's mission and programs. 

  • Write, edit, and submit grant proposals and applications to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. 

  • Develop and maintain a grant calendar, tracking deadlines, submission dates, and reporting requirements. 

  • Collaborate with program staff to gather information and data for grant proposals and reports. 

  • Ensure all grant applications and reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

Fundraising:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support Tech2Peace's programs and initiatives. 

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.

  • Plan and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives. 

  • Manage the donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of donations and donor information. 

  • Prepare and distribute donor communications, including thank-you letters, newsletters, and annual reports.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and grant requirements. 

  • Monitor and track the use of grant funds, ensuring they are used in accordance with grant agreements and organizational policies. 

  • Prepare and submit required financial and narrative reports to funders and regulatory bodies. 

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in nonprofit compliance requirements and best practices. 

  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Nonprofit Management, Communications, Business, or a related discipline. 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, and/or nonprofit compliance. 

  • Proven track record of successful grant applications and fundraising campaigns. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling grant proposals and donor communications. 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 

  • Knowledge of nonprofit compliance requirements and best practices. 

  • Proficiency in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Passion for Tech2Peace's mission and values, with a commitment to promoting peace and understanding. 

  • Native English.

Program & Community Director

Role Overview:

As the Program & Community Director at Tech2Peace, you will take on a key leadership role within the organization, responsible for shaping and executing our operational programming plan in line with the organization's strategic goals. This dynamic role requires a strong presence both in the field and within the office, as you will mentor and lead community coordinators, alumni leaders, and program staff, fostering growth, engagement, and scale in all aspects of Tech2Peace’s community and programming efforts.

This is not just a desk job. Your role requires fieldwork, attending and overseeing programs, building relationships with participants, and maintaining a pulse on the community’s needs and opportunities. You will work closely with the COO and CEO to manage the programming budget and ensure that our impact and reach continue to grow through new partnerships, innovative programming, and strategic community-building initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Program Leadership: Develop, implement, and manage the annual program strategy and budget in collaboration with the COO and CEO. â€‹

  • Alumni and Community Engagement: Establish and expand a robust alumni program, fostering engagement and community building through personal relationships, leadership opportunities, and complementary programming. 

  • Mentorship and Leadership Development: Mentor community coordinators and alumni leaders to empower them in building and leading local communities.

  • Program Recruitment and Execution: Lead efforts in promoting, recruiting, and staffing for Tech2Peace seminars and programs. Ensure program development, execution, and evaluation align with organizational goals. 

  • Cross-team Collaboration: Coordinate with external service providers for event logistics and program content. Represent the organization’s values while fostering collaboration both within and outside Tech2Peace. 

  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Oversee the tracking of program KPIs, ensuring that all programming meets the required impact metrics and funder requirements. 

  • Partnership Development: Build partnerships that enhance professional development offerings for alumni and participants, expanding our reach and impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required) 

  • 5-10 years of professional experience (preferred) 

  • Strong leadership and management experience, with the ability to mentor, inspire, and manage teams and community leaders. 

  • Proven experience in program development and execution, including budgeting, recruitment, and event management. 

  • Entrepreneurial spirit – you must be willing to take risks and learn from both successes and setbacks. 

  • Experience in a multinational environment, particularly working with Palestinians and Israelis. 

  • Experience with technology-related or entrepreneurship programs (preferred). 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. 

  • Fieldwork experience and willingness to be an active presence at seminars and community events. 

  • Fluency in English (Hebrew/Arabic preferred). 

  • Creative problem-solving skills and an eagerness to continuously develop and align with the organization’s mission and vision.​
