Development Manager

Role Overview

Make your mark on Israeli and Palestinian societies by joining the close-knit team at Tech2Peace as the organization’s Development & Media Manager.


Reporting to the CEO (until such time as a Director of Development is hired), the Development & Media Manager serves as a key team member helping shape the organization and ensuring its funding and growth opportunities. The Development Manager will support and help execute the day-to-day needs for T2P’s fundraising portfolio, including events, campaigns, tours and consistent donor stewardship. The Development Manager will implement M&E processes as well as maintain compliance and reporting with donors, including USAID.

The Development Manager should be detail-oriented, a great communicator, highly organized, tech savvy; and have the willingness to take initiative and the astuteness to anticipate organizational needs. We are looking for someone who is looking to develop their knowledge of the ins and outs of nonprofit development from the ground up, and is prepared to lead on data entry and manage our CRM system. 

What You’ll Do 

Lead on fundraising systems, tracking and reporting (and contribute to the fundraising strategy, communication, and management):


  • Ensure appropriate tracking of all donations, donor follow up and follow through

  • Manage CRM, including training interns on functionality and best practices and ensuring accuracy

  • Work closely with program team members to brainstorm new and creative fundraising campaigns and ensure effective implementation 

  • Actively search for new funding opportunities and additional connections that can benefit T2P network

  • Utilize  monitoring and evaluation tools for all of the organization’s programming and activities, and oversee their execution. 

  • Create and maintain  materials to be used for communicating with potential donors and relevant organizations to describe T2P vision, activities, and impact potential.

  • Work with finance team to regularly reconcile donor and income tracking with our accounting system

  • Facilitate engagement and outreach with donors on behalf of the executive leadership

  • Create monthly and annual development reports 

  • Play an integral role within the development team and all fundraising activities 

  • Manage the monitoring and evaluation process, including but not limited to extracting conclusions and advising the executive team based on it, as well as informing all grants and donors

  • Participate in annual fundraising strategy development 

  • Help plan and staff fundraising events like salons, policy briefings, national fundraising tours ++

  • Ensure all fundraising materials are up to date and organized according to their efficient functionality

  • Oversee creation  and distribution of annual report

  • Ensure compliance with donor expectations, including USAID


What You’ll Bring to the Job

  • Bachelor’s degree (required) 

  • 2-5 years professional work experience (preferred) 

  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit. Things may not always go according to plan and you must be willing to take risks and learn your wins as well as your losses

  • Experience working in a multinational environment, specifically with Palestinians and Israelis

  • Strong writing ability, attention to detail, online and social media skills and an ability to convey passion for the mission and vision of Tech2Peace

  • A proactive approach and flexibility to be able to identify needs, and take changing responsibilities in a dynamic work environment

  • Proven experience in a technology-related or entrepreneurship program

  • Ability to collaborate across teams both inside and outside of Tech2Peace

  • Belief that our work isn’t done until every person is connected to the Tech2Peace vision and that the community is thriving

  • Creative problem-solving

  • Excitement to continue developing your own relationship to the mission and vision

  • Self motivation and time management skills

  • Fluency in English must (Hebrew/Arabic preferred)


Flexible. Can work mostly from home; some travel is required in Israel (mostly Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv) and Area C in the West Bank.  



The position is a full time job, with varying workloads throughout the year. Regular office hours, with the need to participate occasionally in evening meetings, events, or phone calls in irregular hours given the nature of the program. Some presence in Tech2Peace activities is required.
